Coalition - an alliance of groups intended to execute combined action

Rescind - to revoke or repeal

Op-ed - short for "opposite the editorial", an opinion article

Demographic - a specific part of the population

Civic engagement - an individual working to address a problem or concern of the public

Per curiam - an opinion issued from the whole Court, rather than specific justices

Intersectionality - inclusivity and interconnectedness of various groups of people of different races, genders, socioeconomic backgrounds, etc. (can mean many things, applied to many)
